Upon arrival at the airport, a private shuttle will be waiting to take you to the hotel where we will spend the first nights. You have the possibility to explore the city on your own or to arrive relaxed in Kenya. During our first dinner together we will get to know each other and can look forward to the next days.

Your highlight today: Visit giraffes and baby elephants
Today the adventure really begins. We head to a breeding station for giraffes and feed baby elephants at a rescue center. In the afternoon we will meet former street children who will guide us through the streets of Nairobi, tell us about their times as street children and accompany us to a market where handmade shoes, bags and traditional Maasai ornaments are produced and sold.

Your highlight today: Be on the lookout for the Big Five
We make our way to the west of the country and meet our hosts for the next few days in a nearby Maasai village. After storing our belongings we go on a safari to discover the Big Five.

Your highlight today:Â Go on a trail with a Maasai warrior
Today we spend the day of our Kenya round trip getting to know the impressive nature and wildlife of Kenya. After a game drive we will go tracking with a local Maasai warrior and have the opportunity to see elephants, giraffes, zebras and baboons up close. Among other things, we will be shown how to read tracks, but we will also not be deprived of the unique view over the Mara from Leruk Hill.

Your highlight today:Â Get to know life in the Maasai village and lend a hand!
Today we will spend the day in the Maasai village and there we will take the opportunity to get to know the Maasai culture better. Here we can choose between different activities, such as visiting an elementary school, a hospital or attending a cooking class. If you are more interested in how Maasai warriors go hunting, we will have the chance to accompany a Maasai warrior on a bush walk and become familiar with the use of bow and arrow.

Your highlight today:Â Go on safari in the Maasai Reserve
As we all know, you can't get enough of Africa's wildlife. Therefore, today we take the opportunity to drive deep into the Maasai Reserve. There we have the whole day for our game drive at our disposal. If you haven't managed to see the Big Five before, today is another chance to get up close and personal with Africa's animals.

Your highlight today:Â Enjoy the last moments in the Maasai village
Short sleeper or long sleeper? You decide! Either you take the opportunity to experience the hustle and bustle of the Maasai Village one last time in the morning or enjoy a relaxed morning and sleep in. At noon we turn our backs on the Maasai and continue our Kenya round trip towards Naivasha, where our next adventure is already waiting for us.

Your highlights today: Ride a bike through the national park and spot hippos on a boat ride
After waking up, it's time for our next adventure. We swing ourselves on the wheels and make us on the way direction Hell's Gate. Here we will get to see giraffes, antelopes and buffalos, among others, and navigate our way through the national park on our bikes.
Not everywhere you have the opportunity to see hippos in Kenya. Therefore, in the afternoon we take the ferry out to the lake in Naivasha and go in search of the giants of the water.

Your highlight today:Â Hike to Mount Longonot
Today we start the day according to the motto: You are the architect of your own luck. There are no activities planned, so you can sleep in or explore the surrounding area again. There is also the possibility to go on a hike to Mount Longonot. In the afternoon, the big city feeling calls and we make our way back to the capital.

Your highlight today: Experience the Kibera slum first hand
After breakfast we head to the Kibera slum, where we visit an organization that takes care of orphans. Here we get a deep insight into the daily life of the children. In the afternoon we will have the opportunity to explore Nairobi a bit by ourselves and get some souvenirs for the family at home. We spend the evening together at a final dinner. Here we can discuss our impressions and look back on the last days.

After a last breakfast we check out of the hotel and until your return flight you can do whatever your heart desires. Is there anything you still want to see? After an eventful trip it is time to say goodbye to your new friends. We will organize the transfer to the airport for you.

What is the minimum number of participants for the trip?
This trip has a minimum number of 4 guests. If this number is not reached 30 days before the scheduled date, TripLegend has the right to cancel the trip.
Can I arrive earlier or leave later?
You can individually plan a few days in advance or add a few days to all our trips, as it suits you best. Of course, we are also happy to give you tips for accommodation!
With whom do I share a double room?
By default, you will share a double room with a person of the same sex, but you are also welcome to book a single room.
What does your collaboration with local partners look like in concrete terms?
For us, supporting locals means working only with local guides, staying in local, family-run hotels, and eating at local restaurants. We often have a social/environmental cause that we incorporate into our trips (from volunteering at a wildlife rescue center in Namibia to the support of Buddhist monks in Nepal in their daily work or visiting a school in a Soviet ghost town in Kyrgyzstan and bringing soccer balls, books, pens, etc.).
